Dublin<3

Hey folks,

today Alex, Judith and me explored Dublin. The beautiful capital of Ireland has over 500 000 inhabitants and we wanted to find out whether all those people live in an interesting city. And I may tell ya; they do!

First of all, we had to stand up early to catch the train. We spend then about 3 hours in the train, chatting, reading or simply relaxing. But when we finally arrived at Dublin Heuston I jumped out of the train announcing how incredibly glad I was that we could come to Dublin. "Welcome to Dublin!"

We walked past the Guinness factory glimpsing to our right and glimpsing to our left so that we just would not miss anything. The first bridge came and the second one and more and more we came into the city. Fortunately, there were maps everywhere, so we decided to go to Dublin Castle firstly. Strolling around, enjoying the nice building, taking some pics. Sounds fantastic right? Btw, we even found a Vespa-shop - felt like home I'd say :) Then, we went to Trinity College, because as some of u might know - I am obsessed with universities. Judith took a picture of me - just had to be - and fascinated by the beauty of the campus and thrilled by the warm sun, we stayed a bit longer, eating our sandwiches in this cool scenery. And then we saw all those people queueing up - what was going on? Holi is a traditional Indian feast and the Indian Trinity Society celebrated Holi at Trinity's :) The cards where sold out, so we could not join the colourful event, though we waited until it started to take some pictures and at least, feel like we were a part of it. So when we went outside Trinity college we walked up a really nice shopping street. Every 10 meters was a street musician, dancers or other actors and artists. Judith, Alex and me enjoyed all the goings-on so much and especially on such a sunny spring day <3 Alex wanted to sit down in a park and eat another sandwich so badly that we made our way towards one and heya - we found it. In general I have to say that we never got lost and found everything we looked for every easily. Even Pizza Hut was found quickly. We finished the evening off in a lovely restaurant near the "sphere within sphere" where we got a free ice cream to make the end of our day perfect. On the train home we were all kinda exhausted and tired, but also filled with new impressions and new experiences <3
